FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

I am located in Shawnee, Oklahoma. I shoot sessions in Shawnee and the OKC Metro Area. I like to shoot sessions in the early morning or later evening just before sunset to get that gorgeous golden light. I take pride in finding fun and unique locations for my clients.

Of course, I know with little ones and busy schedules this can't always happen. When booking with RCP I will help with finding a time that works best with your schedule, and still give you a great location with beautiful lighting. 

First and foremost, you should be comfortable! Outdoor family portrait sessions - especially with little kids - are fairly active. But I also know you want to look and feel good with outfits that show your personality. Once you book your session I will send over a welcome guide that has some tips and ideas for color coordination. 

Absolutely! My photography sessions have a mixture of both posed and candid portraits. 

I always make sure we have those shots where everyone is smiling and looking at the camera, along with fun action shots where true personalities really show. We do lots of exploring during sessions, whether it be a senior or family session. I love to follow the light and give a variety of looks. I have found with little ones this helps keep them involved and they feel like we are out on a fun adventure. 

Mini Sessions are typically more posed, since the sessions are much shorter and usually in one small area or location. But even in mini sessions, I make sure we have some fun candid shots capturing the fun giggles and natural movement.

Family sessions take approximately 3 weeks after your session for your gallery to be delivered. Senior sessions take approximately 4-5 weeks after your session for gallery to be delivered. Business Portraits take approximately 2-3 weeks after your session. Please keep this in mind when planning your Fall & Spring sessions during the busy holiday season or graduation time. 

If you are on a deadline, expedited options are available for quicker turnaround. RCP can work after hours on your edits for an additional fee. The fee vary's depending on how big of a session and your needed turnaround. 

*I highly recommend Seniors book the Summer before their Senior School year starts or Fall. Spring in Oklahoma is hard to plan around with busy Senior schedules.
